Ok, we have to chill with the corny jokes... Anyway, Rodney Mullen seems to get most of the credit for slaying the freestyle game back in the day. While we love Rodney (he's a local to us here in the South Bay of LA), Per Welinder was also a major pioneer of freestyle skateboarding.

His edit in Ban This was absolutely mind bending and totally helped shape Powell-Peralta and the Bones Brigade.
