Bear's new Kodiak Trucks feature forged baseplates and hangars to provide superior strength and performance over normal caste trucks. The axles of the Kodiaks have been machined to eliminate any and all wheel play. Bear also fitted the Kodiaks with an entirely new bushing seat, to increase stability, feel, and overall responsiveness.

Forged Baseplate and Hangar

The Kodiaks from Bear feature a forged baseplate, along with a forged hangar with heat interference pressed axles. The axles also feature a secondary lock pin. The Kodiaks are compatible with both standard and tall bushings, using the shim provided from Bear. An 8-hole mounting baseplate provides tons of options, and aids in making the Kodiaks the lightest truck Bear has built to date.

Bushing Seat Details

Included with the trucks are 90a, 92a, and 94a Bear Jim Z bushings. The conical top bushing seat eliminates any dead zones and truck slop, while the classic bottom bushing seat features an added lip for stepped and double stepped bushings. Bear also includes a shim to allow the use of standard bushings in the Kodiaks.
